Sources of inspiration

Atelier Marineweg 12, Wassenaar

My paintings contain layers that touch your deep inner self. To create that particular visual language, which is so characteristic of my art, I want to explain to you some of my sources of inspiration.

I enjoyed tuition from the teachings of the philosophy of the Advaita Vedanta. For many years I was associated with the School of Practical Philosophy and Spirituality. As a tutor I facilitated students in their aim for developing personal growth, conducting lessons on aesthetics and performing workshops on the main topics of my paintings from the Magicx collection. Furthermore I was enriched by studying the Jungian philosophy (by Karen Hamaker), and exploring the tarot and numerology, but spiritually most elevated I was by travelling all over the world.
